Luckily the local bus is very popular and very good. We got a taxi from our front door to the bus station and then loaded on to the bus into very comfortable seats. We traveled comfortably to Prague like that.
On arrival we once again took a taxi instead of walking to our meeting place and were allocated to an apartment. We've been all split up into smaller groups to share apartments and we are in one with one other couple.
We have a bedroom for each couple and a toilet and bathroom each. We share a small kitchen also. The owner of the apartment showed us at length how to use the various different keys to get in to the apartment and lives in an adjoining space with her dog.
We are only a few hundred metres from the centre of the old city, so it is very easy to get to the key features of Prague. (even for an invalid)
Once we had settled in we had a quick visit to the main city square before saying goodbye to the rest of the group who went to find lunch while we headed off to see the doctor.

The doctor process took the rest of the afternoon up - with the resulting strapping and drugs keeping Trevor a bit more comfortable for the moment. Tomorrow we will go back for possible xrays and ultrasound. They are pretty sure he has some cracked ribs.

We came back to the apartment for a rest and I went out to drop in our laundry to be washed.
We headed out to dinner just down the street and found a lovely place to eat a salad. The weather is still hot and sticky (30 degrees today) , so it was great to sit in the window looking out on to the ancient cobbled street and fancy buildings with a coolish breeze at least moving the air around us.
There is no airconditioning in these buildings (heritage listing rules) so we have opened the windows to let the air in to the rooms, but also the sound is coming in. Lets hope the drugs keep Trev sleeping tonight.
