11/6/19 Cesky Krumlov day 2 - Biking and walking and castle tour

Erica had a bit of an early morning walk to take some photos while the streets were clear.

Most of the group went bike riding down from the mountains back to Cesky Krumlov today.  Erica opted not to go as she is not bike hardened, but Trev went along.
Unfortunately he did not stay on the bike all the way, and took a spill after stopping in a big hurry.
He is now banged up a bit and with very sore ribs, and it will be a hard night to sleep for him tonight.  Luckily our new tour friends have offered to help out with some pain relief for him at bed time a little stronger than we have with us, so he has opted to try this tonight and see if he can get some sleep.

Hopefully he will be back to his usual self soon.  Luckily he was wearing a helmet, so most damage is to skin, shirt, pants, glasses and pride and will heal with time.

UPDATE: Please read on to following days to read about Trevor's actual injuries and his resulting hospital stay in Prague.

Erica went walking in the town and gardens in preference , finding various interesting spots around the town to look at, including a lovely medical herb garden.

this lavender lake would be fantastic for a wedding.

We also toured the castle with its amazing renaissance and baroque decorations (so over the top) but were unable to take photos inside there.  Incredible to see.

Now to bed as we head for Prague early tomorrow.
