Monday 22nd April - Easter Monday (204 km back to Perth)

After another lovely cooked breakfast we checked out from Hope Farm and again headed towards Beverly to the middle distance event.

This was on a simpler area, with less complexity (and over a shorter distance as well.)  Just a little further down the road than yesterday's map.

Trevor had a mid morning start, but Erica had to wait until 1225 for hers.  This gave opportunity to take photos at the finish control and a run with very little sighting of other orienteers.

Trev came 19th, Erica 11th.

The course was certainly easier on our bodies than the previous day. Needless to say, neither of us was in the placings , but we were happy to see that three of the SA juniors were picked for the JWOC team (Dante, Angus and Joanna George) .

Here are a few of the photos from the day.

We headed back to Perth via the Brookton highway and the Perth Hills.

The Monday night markets were on in Beaufort St (just at the end of Nic and Maggie's street) so we walked down there and chose our food from the food trucks assembled.  We had green curry and rice, followed by Creme Brulee.
