Trip to Marstrand

We took a day trip to Marstrand where there is an ancient fortress and apparently stone age artifacts have been found

We caught the ferry across and walked around the island, through the narrow cobblestone streets, and the more quiet inland area.   Had an expensive lunch in a cafe.  The amazing rocky coastline delighted us, and from the lookout we saw the yachts racing, then the boats close up a little later.

The moat water had a nice green coating

We surmise that this is the toilet

One of the paths we took

Little town across the water, with scattered building on this closer rocky area.

Expensive toys for big boys

Now we know what the race is- this banner was on the race marquee
